Sweet Dreams Await – A Peek Inside Reethi Faru Accommodation
Choosing the right room is important when you’re in the Maldives, and at Reethi Faru Resort, it’s no different. We carefully picked the overwater villa. It wasn’t an easy choice, considering the budget, but it was totally worth it! The memories we made there are priceless. While the beach villas are nice too, staying in an overwater villa is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our bungalow was roomy, and the bathroom was really fancy, with an outdoor shower. The wooden terrace was beautiful, and the loungers were comfy and modern.

From Check-In to Farewell: The Service Excellence at Reethi Faru Resort
This being our first time in the Maldives, we arrived with high expectations, having seen countless beautiful catalogs and pictures of this paradise. Needless to say, we were thrilled when those expectations were not only met but exceeded—especially considering we were traveling with a little one. The entire staff on the island was incredibly friendly, and to put it simply, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the obligatory welcome drink served in a fresh coconut, setting the tone for our idyllic stay. From the chefs to the waitstaff, everyone made us feel comfortable and welcome. Whether dining or lounging, the warmth and hospitality extended to us everywhere we went.
Is Reehti Faru Resort Worth it? – Analyzing The Cost Of Paradise
Now, let’s address a sensitive topic for our Reethi Faru Resort review. When it comes to traveling to the Maldives, we always recommend closely monitoring prices over a specific period and comparing several websites. Standard prices can quickly exceed €2,000 per night. However, this isn’t always the case. During the high season, prices are naturally higher. Based on our experiences in the Maldives, we can confidently say that Reethi Faru offers a very fair value for money. But be aware of all potential extra costs; this applies not only to Reethi Faru but to all resorts in the Maldives.
Reethi Faru is very transparent on their website about the costs of additional services. Calculate how much water you need per day and consider avoiding booking only breakfast, as there is no supermarket on the island. Also, factor in the transfer prices from Male to the resort. Additionally, don’t forget to consider the green tax, which is applicable in the Maldives. In case of doubt, it’s always advisable to ask the hotel before making a reservation what the final price will be to avoid unpleasant surprises.

At Reethi Faru Resort, guests can choose from a variety of luxurious accommodations, including the Garden Villa, Beach Villa, and Water Villa. Each option offers its own unique charm and amenities to cater to different preferences. During our stay, we opted for the Water Villa and can highly recommend it.
There are two options available for transportation from the airport to Reethi Faru Resort:
- Seaplane (40 mins): Costs $260 for adults, USD 130 for children.
- Domestic flight + Speedboat (1 hr): Costs $182.5 for adults, $92.5 for children.
While both options ensure a comfortable journey to the resort, we highly recommend booking the seaplane transfer. After a long flight, arriving directly at the resort is incredibly convenient.
